I guess it really depends on how long the port is. If its "flopping" about everywhere, then I would add some kind of brace to keep it sturdy. If it was me, I would design the enclosure bracing around the angled port, and have the angled port resting on the cutout of a shelf brace. That way you'll already have something to rest the length of the port on, and then its very easy to secure it down.

Thanks! Glad you like the site. Its a pity geocities is a bit dodgy though, sometimes I have to re-upload the mainpage of my website, or it just shows up as a "blank".
