Subject: Re: Multimedia PC 4 "Subwoofer

Sorry if I was not too clear.
I would like to calculate a box for a 4" magnetic shielded woofer.
I performed the speaker T/S parameter calculation acording TSPARM.ZIP:
Vs:2.7V - Rs:4.7ohm - Re:6.9ohm
Fs=82Hz - Fh:104Hz - Fl:65Hz (Fcheck=82.5 OK!)
Vtestbox=0.12cu.ft.=3.375 litres Ftb=120Hz
Vas:.14cu.ft Qes:1.5 Qms:3.23 Qts:1.01

The test box is a 6" side box (inside). Is it ok?
Using these figures I've obtained a negative box volume for a sealed box (Qtc=0.7)
I just want to know if the box calculation posted for sealed, ported, 4th and 6th order are valid for such an small speaker.
I would like to hear any sugestion about which one suit better for a PC Multimedia application.

Thanks!
Martin
