Subject: Want to build passive home theater sub with a Pro audio amp. |
|
|
I had an idea to build 2 15inch passive sub boxes and pair them with a live amp like a qsc or crest.I see now that many people here have already done this so I have some questions. What driver do you recomend in the 100 to 200 dollar range? Im looking at the stryke audio, aspire, and dynatron dvc subs.Im also considering 2 audiobahn car audio sound q's that i can get for $310 a pair.Im just worried that they might not sound as good in home theater although they have awesome specs and are geared to sound qaulity. Also whats a good size for a sealed 15 inch woofer box?I want a balance between good low freq extension and output. Any help would be much appreciated! Jeremy
