Derek,

How exactly are you trying to connect the amplifier?

I'm assuming you want to connect one RCA (LFE Out) to both the XLR inputs on the amplifier (A+B) Are you running the amp in bridged mode? Does the amp need both inputs to be present in Bridged mode?

You may have a prblem with impediances. Most recievers have quite a high output impediance (My Yamaha has 1K output impediance), the XLR will have 600Ohm input impediance, and a pair of them in parallel will ob, be 300Ohm. This will drag the output of your LFE very low. The LFE RCA is expecting an impediance of 10K-50K Ohm not 300 Ohm.

If you have an impediance problem you will have to either get a matching transformer, ot an active line driver from RCA to XLR.

If your amplifier will drive in to 600/300Ohm then the wiring you need is below:

Pin 1 = Shield ground
Pin 2 = Positive balanced signal
Pin 3 = Negative balanced signal

So you need to link pins 1 & 3 on the XLRs, then run the ground of the RCA to pins 1 & 3, and the signal of the RCA to pin 2

Hope this helps.
Jon
