Subject: Box volume on fiberglass enclosure

I currently have a cabinet I've been using for the bottom of my bass guitar rig that is two 15's that I put in a standard rectangle box. Each sub is seperated and has about 3.67 cf of space with two 4" round ports at about 10" deep. This thing has sounded incredible for the past 10 years. I just built a copy of it for the back of my cherokee and it also sounds great, but looks like carp. Here's my question...

If I want to build a custom curved fiberglass face for it how can I figure out what the volume of that face is to subtract that value from the depth of the cabinet? If the ports are put into this face and are cut at an angle do you measure port length from the shortest side, or do you go by port volume and calculate the angle as well? Finally, with the face not being straight, will this affect the overall port length?

The end result here is this box sounds great and hits hard but I'm just going for the install look now, hence ignoring the rule if it ain't broke don't fix it...
