Subject: Re: sound quality of ported vs sealed boxes

for some reason I can't tell the difference in SQ between 2 ported subs and 2 sealed subs.

but what I do like is the type of bass (SPL) that rocks your rear view mirror, makes your heart skip a beat, your eyes start to water, and it feels like your hair his shaking.

but that's just me, if you are not building the enclosures I would say get a sealed box just cause they are cheaper that ported boxes sometimes by a couple of hundred dollars. and 2 15s in a car is going to sound hella loud wether you port them or not.
