Use 3/4" MDF wood or a Sonotube (concrete column form) with 3/4" MDF endcaps.
3/4 inch plywood is an alternative.
Don't use particle board or cheap plywood with voids (holes) inside and with unfinished
surfaces.
Size should be in the one to two cubic feet
per driver range, assuming the 10" drivers are typical car drivers. I'm guessing, of course -- give us some driver specs and you'll get more than a wild guess.
