Hello Ben, Yes I made the cabinets a little smaller, I think I came up with the size from an old Sonikit brochure. Don't think their around any longer. As for a budget project, this is it. Where are you going to get this kind of bass for a few cheap drivers and some iron core chokes. Don't forget to let us know how it turns out. George
