I talked to a guy that used to sell this brand and also worked at the company (Bostwick). He said that they used to be used in a 5 cu ft box with a shelf vent, or maybe he meant a transmission line box. I went ahead and assembled a ported box with 5 cu ft space and tuned to 35 hz (which he also said it should be ported to). So this brings me to my other questions....
Is there a certain port legnth that is most suitable? right now I have two at 8" (4" dia)
What is the lowest hz bass in most of your r&b and rock music. I was hoping 35 hz was not too low...
