Subject: sealed?

hey thanks for the info. i think i am definalty going to go with a sealed enclosure, because i am running a very high current strong amp. its an MA audio competition amp: 500@4 ohms, 900@2 ohms and 1300 at 1ohm. i am going to be running 900 watts rms, and i think thats a bit too much for a ported, especially since ilike to turn it up to higher volumes. with a ported i am afraid it may bottom out. Just one more question, if i want this as loud as it can be, according to these specs, how big should my box be? the bigger the louder, or does it not matter? (specs from audiobahn itself)

Recommended Sealed Box Volume: This woofer is best suited for ported box applications; with all other factors being equal, the woofer will sound better in a ported box than it will in a sealed box. If you must mount this woofer in a sealed box, Audiobahn recommends a sealed enclosure with an internal volume of 1.44 cu/ft to 4.44 cu/ft.
