Check out BluePrint drivers... http://www.missiondigital.net

The 01 series might be exactly what you are looking for. It's more along the lines of a budget system, but from what I've read and heard, it appears very clean.

You could also look at some Dayton and Peerless drivers over at http://www.partsexpress.com

I've also seen some nice drivers over at madisound. http://www.madisound.com
If you check out their sale page, of course the DIY legend (or so it seems), NHT subwoofer is available in a 10" version. However, if money is an object, also available on the same page is an interesting looking Audax driver.

However, these are the BASIC limits of 10" drivers..... you may however recieve much better results with a 12" driver, and really only spend about $50 more, and use essentially, in most cases, the same amount of amp power.

Check out http://www.adireaudio.com, and take a look at the Shiva. The shiva's only compromise in quality is its price.... and @ $125 or so.... I find it kind of tough to beat.

You could also hop on over to http://www.stryke.com for other driver selections.
