In Isobaric configurations, the power rating is doubled. This means you can supply more power then you can with one. Isobaric doesn't need twice the power to produce as much output as one speaker driver. The impedance and inductance of isobaric is halved. Isobaric doesn't produce more pounding. All it does is half the Vas. All the specs (except Lvc, Re, Vas, and Pmax) are the same. Its best to hook isobaric subwoofers to one channel instead of two channels.
