I'm looking at getting another 12" sub (car), It needs to be dual 4Ohm, and I will be running it with four channels (two bridged) of a 4*70Wrms2Ohm amplifier (~280W on dual 4's). Driver will be ported (~2^ft), and tuned low (25-30Hz, & active EQ the top end accordingly). Quality & low distortion is the main objective, so the best I can get out of a ported enclosure is the target.

I was originally looking at the 12W3-D4, although the 12W3v2-D4 is now out. (Not that I've seen one in the UK yet!)

Anyone have any expierance of the 12W3v2?
Would people recomend the 12W3v2 over the 12W3, taking in to account the extra cost, and my application? Cost of the 12W3 in the UK is £170 GBP(lowest I've found)

So what you lot think? Any better drivers for the application (must be available in the UK)
Regards
Jon
