Subject: Powering a sub |

I have a dolby digital reciever and want to use an old stereo receiver to power my subs is that possible? is there any way i can take the subout on my denon reciever and hook it to a stereo receiver then to my sub? my denon also has a feature where i can play the lfe channels through me front speakers. So if i cant get the subout to work i could get a crossover on my fronts and down to my sub? The stereo receiver iwas planning to buy is on ebay http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1387376983
