soundz like a really "neat" idea...
my immediate concern would be reflections along the tube (at the points where it is coiled back upon itself) the inside of the tube might want to be coated with a sound absorbing material/foam or paint to prevent unwanted reflection (and in that sense would look like a one-way "straight" tube)
am interested in what other posters might have to say..
