sadly, the other guys are right about your sub/amp situation. however, you're slightly lucky because the nominal impedance is actually 3 ohms for each coil. so, like corey said, you should wire each sub's coils in series, then wire both subs in parallel to the amp. although the amp won't see a 2 ohm load, it will see a 3 ohm load, which is closer to the 2 ohm minimum. in a way this is good and bad (depending on how you look at it). at 3 ohms, the amp won't be stressed as much (even though it's designed for that), but it also won't make as much power so the subs won't get as much juice. even so, the beast of an amp you got is underrated so it'll make a bit more power than MTX's power claims, as you will or already have seen on the certification sheet that came with the amp.
