Subject: Re: Best 12" subs?

yes, the higher end eclipse subs are very expensive when
bought from most retailers (namely the 88000Ti and the
88000 aluminums). however, the 87000 subs are not as
expensive. i got my 12" brand new for 200 bucks (shipped)
online, and personally, i think it's a better deal compared to
the aluminum subs in terms of sq and spl for the money. you
don't need as much power to run em, and they love small
sealed enclosures. of course if you want spl then spend all
your money on some 12" 88000 Ti DVCs and a really
powerful amp. as far as eclipse being the "highest class"
available, i don't think they're the best subs produced, but
they're up there.
