I remember you bringing this up before, and have had the occational thought on the subjuct, most of which have been silly and not worth mentioning. But as far as I can see it you are mainly having problems with the motor structures. Surley then if you get a 15-18" passive radiator and bolt a large solidoid (with sufficient power) to the mass post, this would be the same as a speaker, just with a seriously uprated motor structure, that could not reproduce high frequencies (which you are not interested in anyway). There must be solinoids with sufficient power/modulation to pull any speaker the distance you are after, with the pressure required.
