Thanks for the info. The power wire definately isn't the problem. I'm running a 1/0 gauge power wire and a 1 farad cap. The power wire isn't even running 1/3 of it's capacity.

I think the problem is basically what you said. The downfiring design leaves the driver little "breathing room" to do it's thing. I guess I'll just have to live with this though. Don't get me wrong, I'm not displeased with it. The sound quality is great, which is what I was going for. The truck is a daily driver and I wanted to conserve as much passenger and storage room as possible, hence the stealthbox. I could easily install 2 15's or 18's in the back extended cab area, but I don't want to give up my rear seat. lol
