When I read your post and looked at the link you posted two things came to mind. First what size power and ground wires does your amp have installed. It may be capable of producing 'X' wattage, but not if it can't get the juice it needs. And secondly, I think you have the right idea just the wrong conclusion about how the sub is positioned. Acoustics, as you well know by having custom pods for your 4" mids & 1" tweets, is critical! As is the positioning of subs in a vehicle (or in a room for home theatre). The W3 is an impressive sub, you are not at foult for choosing this model or stealth box, but the positioning of the down firing sub in the center of the seat may not be the most optimal place to install a sub. A sub works by moving air, as I'm sure you are well aware. A few things about where your sub is installed may hinder it's ability to move the ammount of air it is possible of moving. First it is downfiring and the cone/coil is loaded forward due to gravity, reducing the XMax forward, therefore reducing throw. Secondly the sub fires into the floor, relatively close, it is not as free as if it were installed in a rear of say an SUV. If your wiring is capable, and your amp produces what it claims then there may not be much you can do to increase SPL other than install more subs/amps/or POWER!
I hope this helps...
