Use MDF (medium density fiberboard) for the box, I would suggest two 3/4" thick layers, they could be staggered to form stronger joints. Also I would suggest bracing inside for each wall, due to their size. Sealing the joints of the entire box other than the glue used in construction is a plus, I found GE Silicon II works best. If covering the box, then use spray adhesive from 3M, it comes in a black can. Spray both the box and the fabric, let set up then stick. I didn't run your calculated box size, I'm at work, but if you attain the desired tuning frequency with your box volume then run with it. I defer the checking of the box volume to others who can run Isaac's program. Have fun!!! And don't rush! < Corey
