The all mighty sub is an all mighty head ache. I just spent most of the morning pouring over the info on that page as well as design ideas for the sub you suggested.
My take on the all mighty sub is that it's a perfectly dead box with a pretty good speaker in it. Port tuning is 24hz, but enclosure size is like 200 litres. A box that size is not usually my cup of tea so to speak.
The graphs and all are neat... and the all mighty sub is looking like it's 6db louder or so than the Beymah sub.... but that is where price vs. performance comes along.
The 95l/25hz enclosure I suggested runs near flat and produces SPL levels around 115db or so...it rolls off a little early but room gains will compenmsate a lot. Xmax is around 3/4 usage, which won't bottom the sub and this is all simulated with 200 wrms.
I like the all mighty sub...looks very clean.... but is that what you are really looking for?
