Pioneer makes a good headunit. Most of the name brands are good. Alpine, sony, JVC, Kenwood, etc. Just get the features you want within your budget.

Don't know about Sound Storm speakers. Funny I have a Sound Storm amp in my cabinet here at work. A friend here asked me to take it home and test it for him this weekend. it is a BIG 1200 watt amp. If it works, I will curious to compare it to my 1000 watt MTX. . .

good thing is I bet those speakers were cheap, so you can alway upgrade them later. JL make a couple of small 2-ways. I use a pair of the 3.5" in my rear pillars for rear fill and for DD surround sound. they sound good, but not very loud.
