I have used the 12W3 before. . .Great sub, but I would take the Infinity 12.1 over it. Better sound, bottom end, and efficency, but more $$$$

I have also owned the 12W6 before. Also a nice sub. Really could not tell any difference between it and the W3. W3 has more excursion and VRC technology, and is cheaper. W6 also has dual 6 ohm coils, so if you you like it, make sure you have an amp that can handle it.

I too am curious. . .why not a shiva?
