I have owned a pair of Kappa Perfect 10.1's. Output is GREAT, and the low response is also AWESOME. One of the magazines did a review on the 12.1 at one time, and the maximum output 'in car' was at 14.5 Hz!!! How's that for low response????
I actually sold the 10.1's to get (3) JL 10W3's, and going by the amp's ratings I was using, it should have also doubled the power running to the subs. To tell you the truth, if I did it again, I would go back to the Infinity's!!!!
A single Shive would be nice, but if you have the money, I think I woud go with a pair of Infinity 10.1's.
