Hi Mike,
I've been out of work for a week, but here we go. If you want small, then I would go with a 1.5^3ft enclosure tuned to 44Hz, (2" dia port 4.4" long) this will have an equilavent Q of 0.95 so will be quite punchy, f3 on that will be 43 and 89Hz, with an 80Hz LP filter. with a 150LPF f3's will be 48Hz, and 102Hz.

Hope this will be good enough for you. If you want smaller than 1.5ft, it's going to get really boomy, but it could be done.
