I'm sorry, I was wrong about the series coils raising the Qts. Here is the actual information on series coil wiring from Isaac MCN's site:

"This wiring configuration yields system Revc, Bl and system Levc that is twice that when using just one voice-coil."

In light of what Brian said about possible differences in loading, I guess Curtis should wire the coils in series and subs in parallel. I just remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't connect the coils in series, possibly due to the doubled coil inductance, which would limit the high-frequency response of the driver. Should pose no problem for subwoofers, though.
