got very little experience - do have two different pairs of Eminence 18" with pleated surround in 2-sets of "R-J" vented boxes - one pair has 95oz magnet 18" w. 3" voice coil, curvelinear cone - other pair more straight-sided cone and 4" vc

3" vc version I have is 'quiet" on long excursions but 4" vc 18" and a couple of Eminence 15" I've tried there's a wheezing sound made by the surround's center flapping outta phase - sounds much like a leak

are both 18" mounted in the same 20 cu.ft. box? (my 18" are in QB3 sized boxes ~6.4 & 8.2cu.ft. with tunings around 32Hz and 26Hz)

good price on those 18" (even w. foam I dislike) - would they like less Vb?

you're not running out of power??

btw- what "Pictures" and "Fanfare" are you using to evaluate
