I don't understand. . .you have too much bass, and they said add more subs. . .????
Only thing I can figure out: are the subs in too much airspace? A car sub should be tuned to make good bass around 35 Hz, and the car cabin gain wil expand the bass on down into the 20 Hz range. If yours are tuned too low, along with the cabin gain you may be getting too much bass in the lower frequencies.
Or, it could just be you are making more bass than you like. . .In that case, your local stereo shop guys are crazy!!!
Ever thought about getting rid of one of the subs?? If not, just keep the gain turned down; doesn't hurt anything to have extra power for headroom on subs.
Am I missing something?? . . let me know.
