Sounds like the web hosting service that I used two years ago. The guy that made the hosting service did a great job but he then sold it for $$$. This because of personal issues.

From companies that I experience. When they are bought, the company will soon not give the good products or service. Also it might go bankrupt. I can give some examples of what companies have go under.
