Now I'm not sure if this is going to give equal power to all drivers... but this what I came up with for 7 drivers to get a 1 ohm load:
*2 drivers wire in series to 8 ohms *Another 2 drivers wire in series to 8 ohms *Ok so now their are two sets of 8 ohms. Wire those in paralel to get 4 ohms. *Wire a single 4 ohm driver in paralel with the above 4 ohm load to get 2 ohms *Wire 2 drivers in parallel to get 2 ohms, and then wire this in parallel with the above 2 ohm load to get 1 ohm load.
Ok I dont know if I wrote the above in a way that made sense, so:
d=driver *=wire in series /=wire in parallel
2d*4=8 } } Wire these in paralel to get 4 ohms 2d*4=8 }
1d*4=4 } Wire this 4 ohm driver in parallel to the above to get 2 ohm load
2d/4=2 } Wire this 2 ohm load to the above 2 ohm load in parallel to get 1 ohm load
=1 ohm load
What do you think Brian? Does it look like power would be spread equally? I dont have enough time to figure it out. I would like to know if anyone sees anything wrong with the above!
