I guess you mean a volume of 2 cubic feet...

Start w/your parameters...you've got a 15" "sub"...which will need roughly 16" for mounting (at least that's what the 15" Tempest would require...

So you've got 16"-1.5 (0.75 * 2) or 14.5" for an inside measurement.

14.5^2 = 210.25 in^2...add in your volume for the 15" driver and solve for the required height, i.e....say your driver displaces 275 in^3

1728 in^3 in 1 ft^3.

(2 * 1728 in^2)+ 275 in^3 = 3731 in^3 required volume.

3731 in^3 / 210.25 in = 17.75 in for your interior height.
