Well... it looks like you want to keep this a single amp install. I still say that if you want to go with a 15 it should be a stroker, which you can get about 400 bucks american on ebay... new or gently used. It's not like you can break a stroker... well at least I never have.

I fyou want 2 12" subs, and you want 'em JL, go with the W6, or wait for the W7 to drop. The 12w6 to this day remains probably the cleaneast CAR AUDIO sub on the market. I had 3 in a grand am and hit 155.3 db with it. The 12w6 is the way to go with JL and definately keep a rockford amp. Instead of buying the cap right away, instead buy a Dynamat trunk kit. Especially in a Civic that has no real natural rattle, unless of course it is a trunk and not a hatchback. The dynamat will run ya' about 75 bucks, but 3db is 3db is 3db if you get my drift. Eliminate the rattle and your system will always Sound better, regardless of what the SPL meter says.
