Subject: Civic install


whats better 2 12" or 1 15"
i will be installing them in a civic. And i think i will be grabbing a Rockford amp, and maybe jl subs.
I was reading on sounddomain that one guy had lots of problems hooking up his system, because he had to leave his old head set in, and have his new one in also. Is it very difficult to install a system? i'm only gonna put in the subs amp cap and i dunno what else yet. i was reading up on putting fuses in also. And run the power cables on the other side of the car than the power cables. If i buy 2 12" should i have them single boxed or in 1 box or 1 box with a seperator in them?. If i buy a 1000 watt amp will i have heating issues?. What kind of security system is good? i won't be doing the security install myself.
Is there a way to lock down your sub, and amp so if your car does get broken into it will be a bitch stealing it?
