I was planning on using the square Kicker S8L7 Solo-Baric subwoofer, and building a box for my car. I would be using the DVC 4-ohm-per-coil model so I would only need one woofer. I would not compensate for cabin gain, however, because loud, low bass is very important to me, while retaining most of the sound quality.
