As said I want to add only 20 to 30 Hz bass to my 40 Hz Horn.

Enclosure back 81,5 Liter, tuned to 22 Hz and front 30 Hz 81,5 Liter Volume.

First I constructed it with 4th order alignment. Back enclosure 81,5 L, closed and front box 81,5 L tuned to 30 Hz. Then I thought, why should I waste the bass from the back enclosure and want to know now if it is possible to tune the back enclosure to 22 Hz to reinforce 20 Hz response by maybe 6db?

Would that function?

I found this comment on the DIY Forum search, I searched several hours. Is it true what is said about lower cone excursion with 6th order alignments with series tuned ports in comparison with classical 6th order alignments?

same thoughts as hyper-cube about the 6th order series tuned bandpass. i have been a fan of this enclosure variation (at least on computer screens) due to the awesome control it can excert on the motion of a cone. excursion and displacement-limited graphs that i have seen using Bandpass Box Model 1.0 and BassBox 5.1, respectively, are among the best i've seen.
