I'm obviously not a tech guy and I live in Costa Rica where nobody is sure how to turn passive into active. I like my Polk Audio RM 3000 sat/sub combo and am seeking the cheapest way to get more bass. I don't know what the minimum requirements should be for the amp, nor how to explain to somebody how to connect the two. Any info w/wo a picture would be greatly explained and I'll be your new friend in Costa Rica.
