Subwoofers are pretty much set up all the same. Right now im looking at some Pyramid Hyper Pro's. they can handle a lot of power and have huge excursion. thats just for vloume. my friend just bought a polk momo subwoofer 12" and blew it within a week. he payed 300 bucks for a name and a fancy look to it. don't go for brands, look at magnet size, cone material and surround, not names. all subs work the same way, get some really cheap subs, slap them in a good box, and you're set. (power acoustik makes some damn nice subs, check out their Farenheit line up)
