I have two of the 10inch subs from radioshack and they seemed ok when I was using them(didn't know much about building speakers back then) but the truth is when I got my new sub (shiva none the less) the difference is unbelivable so before you rush off and get all the materials for your 7ft^3 box take a few minutes to see if you are going to want an upgrade in a few months/years and you may save yourself some trouble.
