Subject: Fiberglass WILL absorb bass energy

If fiberglass did not absorb bass energy,
then it would not be of any use inside sealed enclosures.

While it is true 2-3 inches thick fiberglass will not
absorb much bass, fill up a ported enclosure
with fiberglass or polyester stuffing and you'll
see how well 2-3 feet thick stuffing absorbs bass.

If it was true fiberglass absorbed little bass under
200Hz.,as you wrote, that would be another reason for not adding stuffing to a ported enclosure.
