Bill,
You're welcome.
A note about WinISD: some of the preloaded driver parameters are wrong or incomplete, so check the particular T/S paramters first =)
".... make a subwoofer (cheaper and much beter than what I listened to in shops)"
(Very) True.
To be sure of the quality of box stuffing, one would need to measure at least the resonance frequency with and without box stuffing. From the two resonance frequencies the amount of gained acoustic volume can be calculated.
A software tone generator, soundcard, amplifier, 1 or 2 resistors and a multimeter is enough to measure the resonant frequency [and more... ] of the subwoofer. Grab a copy of the book, Loudspeaker Design Cookbook by Vance Dickason, it's a good one. If you're in Sydney, the Architecture Library of the University of Sydney has a copy of the said book -- cheaper than buying it from Jaycar.
Enjoy and good luck on your next projects.
Isaac
