Subject: Shiva II sub, how much stuffing? |
|
|
Recently built a sealed subwoofer, with shiva II driver & 150w @ 4ohm active amp. Internal box dimensions, 72.5h x 39.5w x 26.5d cm. = 75.9L. Total minus bracing etc.=70L approx.Sounds good, looks great. I have stuffed it loosley full with polyester (Dacron) stuffing purchased from Jaycar Electronics which is Australian equivilant to RadioShack. I do not know the weight /ft only that it is their "heavy duty" product. The sub. does everything I expected, if shaking the house is what I expected. I was just wondering about the amount of stuffing. I do not have any instruments to measure performance etc.
