Subject: Seperate Amp for the Sub |
Hi. I am building my first high-end (well, mid anyway) car audio system. The head unit is an Alpine 7862 In-Dash CD, that has 4 RCA outputs. I have an Alpine 500W 4/3/2 Amp that will drive the 4 inside speakers (FL, FR, RL, RR). I would like to buy a sepeate Amp to drive my Alpine SWR-1040 Sub. Here are my questions:
What are the wiring considerations for using two amps? Will my head unit support this configuration? All parts can be exchanged, so let me know if I need to upgrade or consider a different feature set. Many thanks in advance!
