Mathematics alone cannot help you with enclosure designs. You need at LEAST some basic knowledge of acoustics. I don't think the Greeks came up with a ratio of W/H/D for speaker enclosures considering they didn't have any speakers. Even if they had the ability they'd have absolutely NO reason to try to figure out this ratio.
