I don't see why going to all that trouble would be worth it in a subwoofer. The frequencies that would be reproduced in a subwoofer are below 60-80hz. The wave lengths are longer then the box is big. Meaning the waves could not reflect back. The most popular method of dampining a subwoofer is to fill it with fiber glass or poly fill or wool or somthing. But this has more to do with lowering the box qtc then it has to do with dampining resonences.
