No data at Soundstage.

Just bizarre theories about bass and room acoustics with no supporting measurements.

They are in the "I know what I hear" school
of audiophiles, whose ears are "golden" only
until they attempt to prove their hearing ability under blind conditions -- under those conditions their ears became "tin" (average) like the rest of us. The "I know what I hear" audiophiles are articulate, and that makes them persuasive to some people, but they are also incompetent because they are not objective and collect no data to support their bizarre theories. A theory with no supporting data ... is nothing more than an opinion.

People who make an effort to measure real
listening rooms find the best bass (under
100 Hz.) frequency response at the listening position in most rectangular rooms comes from one bass driver playing mono bass located in a room corner -- often the room corner closest to the listener.

Non-corner positions or multiple bass drivers at two or more different positions will almost certainly degrade bass frequency response measured at the listening position.

Room standing waves are a function of
room dimensions, not speaker position.
It is true that some speaker positions will not fully excite all room modes. Unfortunately the resulting bass frequency response is usually worse than simply launching bass from a single subwoofer located in room corner.
