I'm trying to figure out which set of drivers is producing the "positive"
bass signal and which pair of drivers is producing the inverse. Its giving
me fits because the diagram shows each pair wired in series (got that
part) and one pair wired backward from the other (sort of understand
that part). Problem is I've followed every where and they all appear to
be exactly the same. Does anyone know which set is pushing and
which set is pulling?

I endured the pain and suffering associated with trial and error
determination and think I've got a very efficient re-design of this passive
sub. Its now a little heavier and a little more complicated, but sounds
good. Tight and articulate.

What modifications have you done to the SB-5? I am very interested because have a SB-5 and four Control 5 Plus that I want to use in a home theater system. The Control 5 Plus is connected to a AV receiver and they perform excellent as front+back. Can I use the SB-5 (with a separate amp) as a sub in that system and how does it perform?
