Subject: Ideas for sub in very small space

I'd like to put a sub in my boat, but the only place I can put it only allows
an internal box volume of about .25 cu. ft..
I was hoping an 8" might work, but I'm starting to think 6".
And no, it doesn't have to be a marine speaker.

I have not messed around with boats in a while, but there is often hidden space if you poke around a bit.

some of it is filled with expanding foam (for obvious reasons) but it's not completely uncommon to find a hidden spot or two.

What kind of boat is it, and where is the space you intend to use?

There are a few slim speakers on the market intended for small boxes, but they are not cheap.

free space (4Pi loading)and 7Litres doesn't give much hope for extended bass at any volume (SPL) that you will be able to hear.
Buy some headphones.

Thanks for the vote of confidence...
The Pioneer TS-SW841D only requires about .27 cu.ft. I just wasn't
looking to spend that much, but may have to if that's the only route to
go.
