Subject: jbl stopd workin


i got a jbl gt01002d, it stopd working today, then i found the problem...kind of. it only works when i push the sub down. i checkd the wires around it and eveything is still connected. im thinking its a internal problem. but just seeing if there anything i can do? im alos pushing about 500w to it.

One of the tinsel leads (the leads leading from the terminals to the cone) is likely broken. Depending on exactly where it is broken, it may be possible to repair it.
