Subject: Sub Enclosure Dimensions

I'm just looking for some specs / plans for a generic sub enclosure for my home system. Preferably I'd like it to be quite small. (Just dimensions for me to cut the wood. It will eventually contain a 10" driver, Please send me any plans. Thanks so much. I have the 50-6281 sub amp from MCM, but no driver yet.

Well you see, there's no such thing as a generic box. Each driver has different T/S parameters, dictating various box volumes. Also, some drivers work better in vented boxes, others in sealed. Check out www.diysubwoofers.org to get yourself started. When you're armed with a little more knowledge you can plan your system more thoroughly. :)

What are you going to be using it for? Music or HT ??? Do you want SQ or SPL? How much do you want to spend? Or is this just for sound re-inforcement?
